Name | Ti(Co)Ziegler catalyst |
Synonyms | Ti(Co)Ziegler catalyst |
The Ti Ziegler catalyst modified with iodide is prepared by the reaction of TiI4 with an alkyl aluminum compound or by the reaction of three components such as TiCl4 AlI3 AlR3. This catalyst is a suspension of TiI3 crystals.
Ziegler catalysts with cobalt as the center atoms are industrially prepared by reacting cobalt (II) carboxylate with Al2R3Cl3.
